87 Series Production Displays

The 87 Series Production Display is an extremely powerful large digital display that offers exceptional flexibility in both function and design. Standard features include your choice of 4", 6", 8" and 12" tall digits in a 7-segment formation and features 2 configurable count/control inputs (jumper selectable sink or source) plus a reset. DIP switches allow the user to select from one of many popular pre-programmed modes of operation. Display production efficiency in your choice of terms - Percent of Goal, Over/Under Target Pace, or Pace Counts. Input production and pace counts, or let the display compute pace counts based upon user selectable time increments. A hold input suspends counts during breaks, shift changes or other scheduled work stoppages. Optionally, other process variables such as Actual Count, Rate or Downtime can also be displayed either sequentially or concurrently on one display using an advanced feature called virtual displays (see following section).

87 Series Production Displays

Virtual Displays

The virtual display feature enables up to 4 process variables such as pace count, differential from pace, efficiency, actual count, rate or downtime to be displayed either sequentially or concurrently on one display (see the definitions that follow). This feature as well as other advanced features can be programmed using our FREE Vorne Display-Pro® 4 Windows® programming utility. Contact Vorne for specifics at sales@vorne.com.

sequential - The display steps through a sequential list of up to 4 selected process variables in a round robin fashion. This form of virtual displays is most effective when using our optional 4" tricolor digits.
concurrent - A single display is partitioned into up to 4 virtual display fields, each field displaying a selected process variable. Optionally, digit colors (red, green or yellow) can be specified for each display field. Furthermore, our optional 4" tricolor digits may be specified combined with preset functions to allow for color changes based on the value of a process variable relative to its presets. These color changes can be used to signify a sense of urgency in a displayed process variable. (i.e. A field showing efficiency may be configured to display red when its value is less than 80%, yellow when 80% to 89% and green when 90% or more.)
