Single-Line Message Displays
Itasca, IL - Vorne Industries is pleased to offer the 2000 series of versatile, low-cost panel message displays.
Specifically designed for industrial applications, the single-line 2000 Series is a 20 character alphanumeric display that is available in three character heights up to 15mm (0.59"). All 2000 Series models feature bright, light-emissive vacuum fluorescent display technology, eliminating “LCD squint” and providing easy reading at distances of up to 25 feet and beyond.
A modular design lets you choose from a wide range of enclosure and power supply options. Case options include no housing, front bezel only, and panel mount case. Front bezel and panel mount case also include an integrated blue-green lens. Power supply options include 10-30 VDC and 120 VAC with removable power and data connectors to simplify wiring.
The 2000C Series parallel canned message displays allow up to 250 individual messages to be stored in non-volatile EEPROM memory. Messages can be fixed, flashed or scrolled. Messages are recalled and real-time data embedded via the universal (TTL to 30 VDC logic) 10-bit parallel port (8 data lines, 2 control lines).
The 2000S Series serial input displays interface directly to your device's serial port with a simple ASCII based communications protocol. A modular plug-in communications card allows each display to be configured to receive and retransmit RS-232 or RS-422/RS-485.
FREE Vorne Display Pro®(VDP), Windows®based message programming software is designed to provide easy point and click message creation for the 2000C Series message displays. VDP also includes a handy on-screen message simulator and extensive on-line help.
