OEE Analytics

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is a “best practices” metric for monitoring and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes. XL provides a wide range of tools for understanding and improving OEE by focusing attention on where waste (i.e. productivity loss) is occurring.

For example, the OEE Waterfall chart visually shows the difference between Planned Production Time (time the process is scheduled to run) and Fully Productive Time (producing good pieces as quickly as possible). In between the two is waste – lost productive time.
