Developmental Version
Because this utility is a developmental version, the following hardware and software considerations should be noted. See Readme.txt for full details.
Software
- The status of developmental version means that this software is still under development. We ask that you please report any problems you encounter while using it.
- Please make note of the above listed PC requirements.
- The software expects a display unit to be configured a particular way. This includes the physical wiring to the display as well as particular DIP switch settings on the display.
Hardware
You must have a special version of the M1000 Display firmware (Version 2.0.0d2) to connect M1000 displays to M1000 Express. This is available FREE OF CHARGE to original purchasers of the M1000 product, for units under warranty.
If your M1000 display has a serial number prior to 220585, then your display has less memory than newer units (this has a very minor effect on the operation).
The DIP switch settings of the M1000 display have been changed.
