APPLICATION

In order to meet production goals, stamping operations require equipment to operate at the expected speed and with little or no downtime. A strokes per minute (or hour) display with automatic downtime detection is used to keep operators and supervisors informed of process status.

APPLICATION

Meeting customer demand is critical, especially in a JIT/sequence supply environment. Products must be produced at the target rate. A takt-based target count along with the actual good part count and a calculated efficiency or piece variance provide the information manufacturers need in order to consistently meet production goals.

OEE plus display
APPLICATION

Many automotive manufacturers use OEE for benchmarking lean initiatives. In addition to OEE, display common production variables such as average cycle time, a takt-based target count and other real-time KPIs. The programmability of the XL Series allows the user to reprogram their display at any time to show production variables relevant to their needs.

“Shot clock”/Cycle time display
APPLICATION

Cycle time reduction is a great way to increase capacity or increase efficiency, especially in a semi-automated process. Cycle time displays make operators aware of the actual cycle time relative to the takt time. The display field can be programmed to change from green to amber to red as the cycle time passes from goal to a “loss state”.
